The VP550 Signal Processor is a compact interface unit for Hydramotion viscometers. The VP550 has a real-time display for showing measured values as well as allowing quick and easy access to configuration parameters for performance monitoring and optimisation.
The VP550 provides all the facilities required for easy operation, calibration and maintenance of a Hydramotion viscosity measurement system. The unit enables the user to monitor “live” viscosity, temperature-corrected viscosity and measured temperature continuously in real time. Outputs include a continuous 4-20mA current and a more comprehensive RS485 serial data link.
The VP550 can be connected directly to the following viscometer types:
- XL7 — on-line process viscometer
- ReactaVisc — reaction vessel viscometer
- ViscoJet — compact on-line viscometer
- goVisc — laboratory automation viscometer
- ViscoMelt — polymer melt viscometer
